According to Joiner, obstruction removal at the airport has also been finalized for the pilot’s approach. He previously reported at a meeting in March 2021 that the Princeton-Caldwell County Airport Board was moving forward with the purchase of 50-acres for the obstruction removal project after an environmental study involving a possible bat habitat was conducted by a professor and students from Murray State University came back favorable for the airport.
