The Caldwell County Board of Education recognized the Caldwell County Elementary School AARP essay contest winner and runner-up at Tuesday night’s meeting, along with the Caldwell County Middle School Academic Team, the Caldwell County High School Academic Team, and a student who is slated for the KMEA All-State Orchestra.
Superintendent Jeremy Roach presented certificates of achievement to the elementary school AARP essay contest winner and runner-up.

He also presented certificates and congratulated the 17 members of the middle school academic team on their competition season.
