Juvenile Charged For Threats Made Toward Webster County High School

Kentucky State Police have charged a juvenile for allegedly making threats of violence toward an area high school.
KSP Post 2 spokesman Trooper Brandon McPherson reports Post 2 in Madisonville was requested by the Webster County Sheriff’s Office to investigate threats of violence toward Webster County High School.
Trooper McPherson says Trooper Ben Sawyer responded to the school and a preliminary investigation revealed that a juvenile student made implied threats of violence toward the school on social media. The juvenile was detained by the school resource officer prior to the trooper’s arrival.
The juvenile was charged with second-degree terroristic threatening.
