Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce has announced a grand opening and ribbon-cutting to welcome Eddyville’s newest business, The Shire Bookstore.
According to Chamber Executive Director Deb Domke, Anna Tobey, the owner of The Shire Bookstore, has turned her passion for reading and collecting books into a business. Domke notes the business was first started as an online retailer and has now evolved to a brick-and-mortar store while still offering free delivery.
Domke says the chamber is excited about the vision and investment that Anna has for The Shire Bookstore and becoming a part of the Lake Barkley business community. She adds the chamber strives to provide the necessary tools and resources to help entrepreneurs on the road to success. She adds the Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce is a powerful marketing partner for businesses to connect, share and grow with other businesses to increase their brand exposure in the marketplace and beyond.
The public is invited to attend the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning at 10:00 at The Shire Bookstore, located at 115 Newman Drive in Eddyville’s Lakeway Plaza. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
