The Princeton Optimist Club has made a donation to the Caldwell County School District for the Dr. Suess Reading Across America Program.
George Kilgore says the Princeton Optimist Club has been a major supporter of this program for many years as it provides books for every student from preschool through 5th grade, as well as other area preschoolers with an individual book for them to take home.
Optimist Club members Glen Young, Zeke Jamison and George Kilgore presented the check to Cope Center Director Stephanie Randall and 5th grade students.
