A Dawson Springs man was transported to a hospital after a single-vehicle wreck on Dawson Road in Caldwell County Friday morning.
Caldwell County Chief Deputy Sheriff Chris Noel reports the wreck occurred in the 16,000 block of Dawson Road just before 9:00. He says an investigation by Deputy Evan Head determined 42-year old Anthony Petrakis swerved to miss an animal in the road and lost control of his vehicle, causing the car to exit the roadway and hit a concrete embankment.
Petrakis was transported from the scene to a hospital in Madisonville for what deputies said were non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputy Head was assisted on the scene by Princeton Fire Department, Caldwell County EMS, Wallace Towing, Deputy Steve Ladd and Chief Deputy Chris Noel.
