The Princeton Art Guild will host a reception Saturday for Richard Knight, the spotlight artist whose Behind the Lens Photos has been on display in the main gallery in January and February. The artist reception was originally scheduled for February 5th but was rescheduled due to the ice storm.
According to Art Guild Director Melissa Peek, Knight is a local photographer from Cadiz, who has captured several genres of photography from automotive and landscape portraits, events and weddings. He also enjoys macro, which is extreme close-up photography, astrophotography and drone photography. Knights’ photography has been displayed at several local events around the Trigg County area, including at the Janice Mason Art Museum in downtown Cadiz. Knight has been in juried photography expositions in the Downtown Artists Cooperative in Clarksville, Tennessee, and is also a part of several photography groups around the area.
The reception will be Saturday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Peek says this reception will close out the show for Knight’s exhibits on display.
The Princeton Art Guild is located at 115 East Main Street in downtown Princeton.
