McClung Advances To Regional Rotary Speech Contest

The Princeton Rotary Club held its annual speech contest Tuesday. This year’s theme was “Serve to Change Lives.”
Dr. Melissa Webb Earnest with the local Rotary Club says the participants were Alanna Harris, Audrey Kinslow, Rachel McClung, and MacKenzie Seibert. She says the judges of the speech contest included local Rotarians and outside community members with Rotarians filling the roles of timekeepers and tellers for the contest. Rotarian Geneva Malone served as the speech contest chair.
Caldwell County High School Junior Rachel McClung received first place in the contest. Her speech was about the Rotary Club’s support in the community.

According to Webb-Earnest, 2nd place in the speech contest went to Alanna Harris, 3rd place – MacKenzie Seibert and 4th place -Audrey Kinslow.
