The Princeton Police Department is continuing to fill its roster with new officers.
Chief Chris King announced at the city council meeting Monday night that Christopher Baker and Jordan Spicer will be starting with the department later this month and will begin training at the police academy in May.
click to download audioChief King also announced the police department has another applicant in the hiring process who will be in phase 2 next week and hopefully will be hired within the next month. This hire would fully staff the Princeton Police Department which has a roster of ten full-time patrol officers.
Officer Garrick Lamb graduated from the police academy on February 4th and Chief King said he should be completing the training officer program in the next couple of weeks before being assigned to his own shift to patrol the city.
