Man Injured And Cited for Driving On Suspended License After Princeton Wreck


A Princeton man was transported to the hospital after his vehicle overturned on Hopkinsville Street Friday afternoon.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers responded to a single-vehicle wreck with injuries near the 1000 block of Hopkinsville Street shortly after 3:30 p.m.
He says an investigation revealed 54-year old Gregory W. Walker was traveling north on Hopkinsville Street when his car dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway, struck a mailbox and continued off the roadway where it overturned in the driveway of 1011 Hopkinsville Street.
According to the report, Walker was taken by Caldwell County EMS to Caldwell County Hospital for possible injuries.
Assistant Chief Allison says a records check indicated that Walker’s driver’s license was suspended and he was issued a citation for operating on a suspended license.
Officers were assisted on the scene by the Princeton Fire Department and Caldwell County EMS.
