On Thursday, the Pennyrile District Health Department reported three COVID-related deaths around its five-county district, including in Caldwell County.
According to the health department, the death of an 85-year old Caldwell County man on February 15 was linked to COVID-19.
The health department reports the death of a 69-year old male in Livingston County on February 15 was connected to the disease along with a 76-year old Trigg County woman who died on March 3.
The Pennyrile District Health Department continues to report backlogged positive cases. Since Tuesday, officials have reported a total of 482 coronavirus cases around its district, including 153 cases in Caldwell County with only five those active cases.
