Providence Police Officers Jay Edwards and Eric Elder report they stopped a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Autumn Hardrick after a routine registration check revealed that the registered owner had an active arrest warrant. Officers said that when they made contact with Hardrick they detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
During a search, officers reportedly found a quantity of meth, marijuana, amphetamines, and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Hardrick was taken into custody and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, second-degree possession of a controlled substance (amphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to main insurance. She was also served an outstanding Caldwell County Bench Warrant.
