Road Update For District 4 In Caldwell County

Due to the amount of rainfall, Caldwell County Magistrate Jeff Simms is reporting several roads in District 4 are flooded or have high water.
According to Simms, Buck Road and Red Hill Road (off State Route 514) are flooded in several places and motorists are asked to avoid these roads overnight.
Simms says motorists need to watch for water running across Cravens Road about 1/2 mile from Sims Road, as well as 293 South between Martin Road and Caldwell Chapel.
In addition, Highways 126 and 128 are reportedly impacted by high water.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has placed signage on roads around the district as well as the county and motorists should use caution in these areas.
