The Princeton Optimist Club is supporting Caldwell County 4-H again this year by making a donation to help those that need assistance to attend 4-H Camp this summer.
According to George Kilgore, records show that over the past 10 years the Optimist Club has donated over $11,000 to the local 4-H Clubs for their various activities.
Optimist Club members Wesley Curtis, Zeke Jamison, Shirley Gray, and George Kilgore presented the donation to 4-H Agent Rhonda Jewell with the Caldwell County Extension Office.
You can help give back to the community by making donations or placing bids during the upcoming Princeton Optimist Club and WPKY Radio Auction, June 13-17. The “New in 22” radio auction will be held at its new location, the Christian Life Center at Princeton First Baptist Church in downtown. The Princeton Optimist Club is currently seeking 22 Platinum sponsors, as well as items to place in the auction. To donate, contact any Optimist or Kiwanis Club member.
