The public is invited to the inaugural “Caldwell County – Fine Arts Celebration” on Saturday, May 7, at the Bulter lawn and gymnasium.
Caldwell County Middle School Band Director and Career Studies Teacher Mason Henry says the concert will begin at 5:00 p.m. outside on the lawn and will feature performances from the middle and high school concert bands, jazz bands, choir, color guard, and guitar ensembles. In addition, he says artwork from some of their talented art students will be on display and available for purchase inside the gym. You will also have the opportunity to have a contoured portrait made by some of the talented art students.
According to Mason, you need to bring your chair and an appetite. He says concessions will be available from the band boosters, including grilled foods, drinks, and snacks.
Mason says they are excited about this event and they hope it will become an annual Caldwell County tradition that will grow as the school’s fine arts program expand.
