A complaint led to the arrest of a Princeton man for theft of a vehicle and criminal mischief Wednesday morning.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports 22-year old Dawson L. Close was taken into custody around 2:15 a.m. after officers received a complaint from the vehicle’s owner that he had taken her vehicle and was refusing to give it back.
Close was charged with theft by unlawful taking – vehicle under $10,000 and first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
