Princeton Man Charged With Trafficking Meth

A Princeton man was arrested for trafficking drugs as the result of an investigation led by the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers assisted the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force in executing a search warrant at a residence near the 1000 block of North Jefferson Street around 1:30 Thursday afternoon. He says officers seized approximately one-quarter pound of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, two handguns, and $160 in cash.
59-year old Thomas A. Martin was taken into custody and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance over 2 grams of meth weapon enhanced and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
