Caldwell County Native Honors Troops


If you’ve seen the purple Wounded Warrior parking spaces in Princeton, you’ve seen the work of Donnie Adams.


Adams, a Caldwell County native and owner of Adams contracting, has been honoring the troops in another special way. He says he and his church, Cross Roads Christian, have been leaving boxes of toy soldiers at local businesses.

click to download audioAdams is also involved in Wounded Warrior Outdoors, a program where soldiers are taken on outdoor trips for activities like hunting and fishing.


click to download audioAdams is still painting parking spaces and adds there are a few spots left for a Wounded Warrior space.
Adams and his wife Carol also serve their community by giving scholarships to Caldwell County seniors who were raised by grandparents.
