Caldwell Candidates Learn Ballot Position For General Election


The Caldwell County Clerk’s Office held the drawing for the ballot positions in the non-partisan races for the November General Election Thursday afternoon.
County Clerk Toni Watson announced the ballot positions for the five candidates running for mayor of Princeton and the current six members of the city council who have filed for another term.

Following the drawing, Watson also announced that Donnie Conway, the primary election winner of the District 1 magistrate’s race, had to withdraw and there will likely be a Democrat and Republican candidate on the ballot for the general election.

According to Watson, write-in candidates have until October 28 to file to run in the general election that will be held on Tuesday, November 8th.
