Princeton City Council approved the budget for Fiscal Year 2023 on the second reading at Monday night’s meeting which includes funding for the City-County Park.
Council members unanimously approved the $7.59 million dollar budget that includes $1.1 million for the revitalization of the City/County Park, with $850,000 of that amount to be spent on the aquatic facility.
The council also approved the reappointment of Tiffany Massey to the Princeton Tourist and Convention Commission with a term to expire on June 25, 2025.
During committee reports, Councilman Jim Joiner said the Princeton-Caldwell County Airport Board had approved a patch and repair proposal for the Hangar 1 roof.
