Caldwell Grand Jury Indicts Five on Various Charges

Five people were indicted by the latest session of the Caldwell County grand jury.
62-year-old Thomas Martin of Princeton was indicted for six counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, firearm enhanced; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Princeton Police assisted the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force in executing a search warrant at a North Jefferson Street residence earlier this year and seized approximately one-quarter pound of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, two handguns, and $160 in cash.
Martin was served the arrest warrants Tuesday.
42-year-old Timothy Shawn Deloach was indicted on charges of second-degree possession of a controlled substance; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance; second-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; and first-degree persistent felony offender.
The charges stem from a May 31 incident when Princeton Police assisted the Department of Probation and Parole with a home visit and found approximately seven grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, suboxone, psilocybin mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia.
Two people saw true bills returned for sex offender registry violations.
42-year-old Jeffery Allen Dunkerson, whose address was not listed on the indictment, saw a true bill returned on charges of failure to comply with sex offender registration and first-degree persistent felony offender.
Princeton Police officers assisted the Department of Probation and Parole on May 31 in reference to a sex offender who failed to register. Dunkerson was taken into custody after an investigation revealed that he had not registered an address change.
33-year-old John Harvey Taylor Jr. of Cadiz was indicted for charges of a first offense of failure to comply with sex offender registration; operating on a suspended license; and two other traffic charges.
The charges came following a May 30 traffic stop conducted by the Princeton Police Department for disregarding a traffic control device. During the stop, officers confirmed through a records check that Taylor’s license was suspended for DUI.
