An Eddyville man wanted for a probation and parole violation was arrested over the weekend.
Lyon County Sheriff Brent White reports Deputy Seth P’Pool conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle around 11:15 Saturday night on KY 293 driven by 36-year old Austin G. Oliver of Eddyville. He says Oliver was a wanted fugitive from Kentucky Probation and Parole after he allegedly absconded from parole supervision.
Sheriff White indicates Oliver was previously convicted of drug offenses, theft, and trespass-related offenses in Lyon Circuit Court.
Oliver was taken into custody on the parole violation warrant and he was also charged with driving on a DUI suspended license. He was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail
