A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for some Fredonia Water System customers.
Mayor Jim Seibert tells the News Edge the advisory is in effect for Fredonia Water System members on Christopher Drive, Oak Hill Road, Hugh Yates Road, Hillside Drive, KY 641 past Christopher Drive toward Marion and KY 91 East past Christopher Drive.
Mayor Seibert says repairs are continuing on the water line and the boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.
When a boil water advisory is issued affected customers should heat the water until bubbles come from the bottom of the pot to the top. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, let it boil for 1 minute, and then let it cool before consumption.
