Police say a call about a disorderly subject at a Providence convenience store led to a Madisonville man being charged with possession of meth.
Providence Police Officer Eric Elder and Sergeant Carl Scheer responded to the call at the Casey’s General Store around 9:00 Wednesday night. Police say they found 33-year old Michael Matthew Mross who was exhibiting signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Mross reportedly admitted to smoking meth and also told officers he had contraband on him. According to police, Mross was found in possession of a meth pipe containing methamphetamine and a scale.
Mross was taken into custody and lodged in the Webster County Jail for public intoxication-controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance (meth), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
