Motorists who travel KY 278/Sandlick Road may want to allow some extra time to reach their destination this week with milling and paving operations scheduled to begin Monday.
District 2 spokeswoman Keirsten Jaggers of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the asphalt resurfacing on Sandlick Road will be between Highland Avenue and KY 1603/Scottsburg Road.
The work is scheduled for completion by the end of this week, weather permitting.
Jaggers says drivers should expect delays, reduced speeds, and lane restrictions. There will be flaggers on-site to direct traffic.
