Eddyville Man Charged With Wanton Endangerment, Drug Possession

Jonathan Foster/Crittenden County Jail mugshot

After deputies responded to a shots fired call last week, an Eddyville man was charged with wanton endangerment and drug possession.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call on KY 818 South near KY 293 shortly before 1:45 Thursday afternoon.
When deputies arrived, Sheriff Brent White says they made contact with 33-year old Jonathan P. Foster and determined he had been in a dispute with a female companion. Following the argument, Foster reportedly got a gun and went outside a residence where he fired at least eleven rounds of ammunition toward the state highway.
As a result of the investigation, Sheriff White says numerous firearms, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized.
Foster was taken into custody by Chief Deputy Sam Adams and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.
Chief Deputy Adams was assisted at the scene by Deputy Joe Witherspoon, Kentucky State Police, and the Eddyville Police Department.
