Kuttawa Man Charged With Possessing Meth And Syringes

Timothy May/Crittenden County Jail mugshot

A Kuttawa man has been charged with his second offense of possessing meth after Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a wanted person complaint at a business last week.
Sheriff Brent White reports deputies responded to the complaint at the Huck’s Travel Center around 4:45 last Tuesday and found the subject had left and was seen traveling on Interstate 24 eastbound. After catching up with the vehicle and conducting a traffic stop, he says the driver, 44-year old Timothy W. May, had been the subject of a bench warrant from Caldwell County as reported by Kentucky Probation and Parole officers. Sheriff White says it was determined that May’s warrant had been rescinded the day before and had been removed from one computer database but not the other.
During the stop, May was taken into custody after he was reportedly found in possession of meth and syringes. He was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.
