Motorists that regularly travel Sandlick Road/KY 278 in Caldwell County may need to seek alternate routes beginning Wednesday.
Caldwell County District 3 Magistrate Brent Stallins announced Tuesday on social media that Sandlick Road would be closed in order for crews to dig out a section of the road for repairs.
District 2 spokesman Keirsten Jaggers of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the work at mile point 0.8 will start Wednesday morning at 6:30 with the repairs to be completed on Friday. She iterates that no through traffic will be allowed through this work site, and motorists will need to find alternate routes.
