Caldwell County High School Prepares To Open

Caldwell County High School Principal Aaron McClung

The Caldwell County High School will not be holding a school-wide open house but it will be having freshman orientation.
Principal Aaron McClung says it will be held Thursday morning.

click to download audioThe high school is adding a choir teacher and planning on having the musical return. In addition, people attending high school sports events will have the option of using a credit card to attend games.
McClung, who is entering his 2nd year as the principal, said new teachers have also been added including Rebecca Robards who will head up the choir program, Jaylen Puckett in math, Ag teacher Parker Jennings and Erin Harper as the Spanish teacher.
The high school enrollment is already up 40 students from last year with 550 enrolled in grades 9 – 12. The school day for students is from 7:50 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
