The charges are in connection to a fatal crash that occurred on Princeton Road about a mile north of Sinking Fork Baptist Church in 2019 two days before Christmas. The Christian County Sheriff’s deputies said Jackson crossed the center line and hit a truck driven by 32-year-old Misty Quarles of Cerulean. Her daughter, 11-year-old Alexia Trump, a sixth-grader at Sinking Fork Elementary School, died from her injuries within a day of the crash. Quarles succumbed to her injuries and died the following May after a lengthy hospital stay. Two other people in Quarles’s vehicle were injured in the crash.
Jackson will be back in court for another pretrial conference on October 5th.
