Princeton Water And Wastewater Finalist For Wooden Bucket Award

Princeton Water and Wastewater has been nominated for the 2022 Wooden Bucket Award presented each year by the Kentucky Rural Water Association at its annual conference.
Princeton Water and Wastewater officials posted on social media the letter they received from the Kentucky Rural Water Association notifying them of the nomination and that the utility “is one of the ten finalists for the Wooden Bucket Award.”
Since 1990, the Wooden Bucket Award has been presented annually to one of the water and wastewater utilities in Kentucky that have shown exceptional efforts in meeting the demands of their community, enhancing their operations, and complying with regulatory requirements. Utilities from across the state are nominated and then ten finalists are chosen.
The Kentucky Water and Wastewater Annual Conference and Exhibition will be held August 29-31 at the Central Bank Center and Hyatt Regency Hotel in Lexington. During a kick-off breakfast on August 30, each of the ten finalists will receive an Award of Excellence from USDA-Rural Development, the federal agency that funds a large portion of utility infrastructure in the Commonwealth. On August 31, the Wooden Bucket Award will be presented to one of the ten finalists during an Awards Luncheon.
