The Caldwell County Water District has issued a Boil Water Advisory that is affecting 166 customers.
The Water District issued the advisory around 9:45 Thursday morning due to a leak in the main line. The advisory is in effect for the following roads:
Blue Springs Road
Cadiz Road
Cotton Road
Cravens Road
Eddy Creek Church Road
Ethridge Road
Hollowell Road
Hopson Road
Highway 126
Highway 1272
Highway 1451
Highway 514
Jo Jones Road
Mahan Road
Merrick Road
Nabb School Road
Red Hill Road
Rock Springs Church (church only – not the entire road)
Silver Star School Road/Silver Star Road
Sims Road
Tandy Road
The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.
When a boil water advisory is issued affected customers should heat the water until bubbles come from the bottom of the pot to the top. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, let it boil for 1 minute, and then let it cool before consumption.
