Caldwell County 4-H Agent Rhonda Jewell says they are looking for volunteer leaders for some programs they would like to offer.
Jewell says the organization is for all kids who typically participate in the county where they go to school. However, she adds due to a lack of volunteer leaders there are instances where Caldwell or another county may not offer a specific program. If that’s the case, they have a cross-country agreement that allows a kid to participate in a program offered in a neighboring county.

Jewell says they have over 5,000+ exhibits entered at the State Fair in various contest categories from photography, arts & crafts, and horticulture to country hams, and livestock.
