The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch has arrested a Hopkins County man on child-porn-related charges.
According to Kentucky State Police, 40-year old Glen C. Riddle of Madisonville was taken into custody after an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation discovered him sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
The investigation resulted in a search warrant at a Madisonville residence on Monday where equipment allegedly used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to the state police forensic laboratory for examination.
Riddle is currently charged with eleven counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years of age (Class-C felonies punishable by five to ten years in prison), and one count of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance (Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison). He was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
The KSP Electronic Crime Branch was assisted by the Indiana State Police.
The investigation is ongoing.
