A Princeton woman was charged with identity theft after she was arrested on warrants Monday morning.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers observed a female who had active warrants in the parking lot of Rulers. When officers made contact with 29-year old Danielle L. Sherrill she reportedly gave them a different name and date of birth. Officers then informed her that she could be charged for giving false information and a records check confirmed that she was Danielle Sherrill.
She was taken into custody and charged with theft of identity of another without consent, giving officer false identifying information, and possession of marijuana. Police say Sherrill was also served with two McCracken County Bench Warrants charging her with contempt of court and failure to appear.
