The excitement is building as we are just days away from the annual Black Patch Heritage Festival that kicks off Friday with the parade in downtown Princeton.
Festival organizer and Princeton Optimist Club President George Kilgore says the Black Patch Parade will be at 5:00 Friday afternoon in downtown with lineup to begin at 4:00 in the Butler Parking lot.

click to download audioHe also encourages everyone to come out Saturday for the festival from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and enjoy a wide variety of activities, food, vendors and more.

Kilgore indicates East Main Street in downtown will be blocked off from South Seminary Street to Newsom’s Hams Old Mill Store at the corner of South Hawthorne Street.
