Midway Baptist Church Dedicates Fellowship Building

The Midway Baptist Church will be dedicating its new fellowship building this Sunday with a special service and fellowship meal.
The church was organized in 1949 when Harmony and Otter Pond churches decided to merge and they met “midway” between their locations and thus the Midway Baptist Church became into existence. Construction on the new fellowship facility began on Labor Day 2020 and was completed in August of this year.
Duane Burden has been the Pastor at Midway for 21 years making him one of the longest-serving Pastors in the Association. He said after the regular morning service they will move over to the new building to have a meal and give thanks.
