Caldwell County held football homecoming Friday night and it was a night full of activities including the crowning of the Queen, the actual football game, little cheerleaders joining the high school cheerleaders on the sideline, band performance, and inducting a new group into the Hall of Fame.
There was also a lot of activity going on that did not involve anything on the field but it was in the stands.
There were various reasons for people to attend and as those attending began to fill Tiger Stadium you could feel the excitement building. There were many sites of people laughing, talking and visiting, others visiting the concession stand to get refreshments and everyone there to enjoy the night.
One of the first to arrive was Phillip Phelps who has a long-standing record of attending Caldwell football games and shared how many games Friday night made for him.
