If you plan on traveling in Livingston County, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 70/Tiline Road on Tuesday and Wednesday.
District 1 spokesman Keith Todd says Tiline Road will be closed between Vaughn Road and KY 2232/Sugar Creek Road, about halfway between Smithland and Tiline, to allow structural repairs to the Anglin Creek Bridge.
The roadway at this site will close at 8:00 Tuesday morning and remain closed overnight to allow concrete used for the repairs to cure. Tiline Road is expected to reopen sometime Wednesday morning.
According to Todd, there will be no marked detour. He indicates motorists will have an extended self-detour via KY 2232/Sugar Creek Road, KY 866/Paradise Road, KY 93/Luka Road and U.S. 60.
