City Of Princeton To Advertise For Burials Contract Bids


The City of Princeton will be accepting bids to open and close burials at local cemeteries after action at Monday night’s city council meeting.
Mayor Kota Young said the current 12-month contract for burials expires November 19, 2022 and asked the council for authorization to advertise for bids.


click to download audioThe city council unanimously approved the motion to advertise for burial contract bids which was the only business on the agenda.
During the mayor’s report, Young shared with the city council that former councilman Edward Schmidt had passed away and asked them to keep the family in their prayers.


click to download audioThe mayor also said the city will be celebrating Halloween on Monday, October 31, with more information to be released later this week.

In addition, he noted the Ghost Walk was another wonderful event held on Saturday evening, September 24th.
