Princeton Man Arrested On Drug And Gun Charges


An anonymous tip led to the arrest of a Princeton man on multiple charges Wednesday.
Princeton Police Chief Chris King reports officers received the tip that Patrick Adams was wanted on multiple warrants and was staying at the Stratton Inn on Marion Road. When officers made contact with Adams, they could reportedly smell marijuana coming from the room.
During a search of the room, Chief King says officers found a quantity of marijuana, methamphetamine, and a shotgun.
Adams was taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana firearm enhanced, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth) firearm enhanced, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was also served with five Carlisle County bench warrants charging him with failure to pay fines and one Ballard County bench warrant charging him with Failure to Appear.
Adams was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
