Princeton Public Works Director David Sullenger announced this week that residential leaf pickup in the city won’t begin until next month, even though some leaves are already starting to fall due to the dry conditions.
Sullenger says some leaves are already falling and when we do get some rain more trees will be shedding its leaves. However, he adds Public Works probably won’t start leaf pickup until sometime in mid-November and around Thanksgiving so crews only have to make one sweep through a neighborhood.
