Caldwell County Band Recognizes Veterans

The Caldwell County High School Band of Pride took time before their halftime performance at the football game Friday night to honor four local World War II veterans.
The Band’s musical theme this year was “In Memoriam” based on the movie Pearl Harbor and that inspired the recognition.
Veterans Dale Faughn, James Earl “Jim” Martin and H. C. Beck were escorted to midfield and received a standing ovation as they were introduced.
Faughn appreciated the recognition.
