Caldwell County Schools have several events coming up this month.
Caldwell County Schools Public Relations Coordinator Lizzie Shelton says she wants to remind parents that students will be in school on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8th.
click to download audioLooking ahead, Shelton says Thanksgiving break will be from November 23rd through November 25th with the Thanksgiving meal at the schools for only students and staff on November 18th.
click to download audioShe noted they are working on plans for a Veterans Day Program and reflected on the Special Veterans Salute featuring Captain Charlie Plumb held at the Fine Arts Center at the high school this past weekend.
click to download audioShelton also thanked everyone who participated in celebrating School Safety Week with the district, which she noted surpassed its goal for pledges.
