Governor Andy Beshear reappointed a Princeton woman to the state’s Consumers’ Advisory Council last week.
Sheila Hodges, owner of Hodges Service Center, will serve a term expiring September 8, 2025. Hodges also serves as the chair of the Caldwell County Republican Party.
The Consumer’s Advisory Council aids in the development of preventive and remedial consumer protection programs. The Council consists of sixteen members appointed by the governor and includes citizens in Kentucky generally knowledgeable in consumer affairs. In addition to the members appointed by the governor, the state’s attorney general is an ex officio member and serves as the chairman of the Consumers’ Advisory Council.
