At Tuesday morning’s meeting, Caldwell County Fiscal Court approved a third round of long-term recovery group disbursement checks and four resolutions involving a mitigation grant for emergency generators.
Magistrates approved the distribution of checks from the Caldwell Long-Term Recovery Group to 30 residents for a total of $67,500. With this round of distribution, that brings the total number of checks distributed to 162 residents for a total amount of $364,500.
In other new business, Caldwell County Emergency Management Director Joey McCaslin presented four resolutions for a mitigation grant from the Pennyrile Area Development District (PADD).

In other action, the fiscal court approved putting out bids for an ambulance remount chassis. Caldwell EMS Director Mark Harrison said the remount chassis would be better than getting a new one.
