Caldwell County Fiscal Court gathered Monday morning for a special called meeting to approve the distribution of more checks from the long-term recovery group.
During the brief meeting, magistrates approved the distribution of 12 checks for a total of $27,000.
With this round of checks, the fiscal court has distributed a total of 174 checks to local residents affected by the December 10th tornado for a total of $391,500.
The next regularly scheduled fiscal court meeting will be at 9:00 Tuesday morning, December 13th.
