Grand Marshal Named For Princeton Christmas Parade

The Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce has announced the Grand Marshal for the 2022 Princeton Christmas Parade.
Earl Hammonds will be leading the annual parade Saturday. He is the 31-year-old son of Sally Harrelson Hammonds and the grandson of the late Bubs & Jane Harrelson.
Earl is a 2009 graduate of Caldwell County and has been a well-known face around Caldwell County football since entering high school. Earl’s cousin Brad Harrelson said Earl joined the coaches on the sideline with the encouragement of several of the coaches.

Earl has always been willing to help others. He has volunteered at Joseph’s Storage Bin, the Princeton Housing Authority, and Waste Management. While living in Hillview Court he would regularly take the trash containers to the pick-up spots and then return them to the houses when they were emptied. Harrelson adds that life is good for Earl.
