Princeton Police Chief Chris King announced Monday night that a new officer has been hired and another officer will graduate from the police training academy this week.
During his report to the city council, Chief King said Landon Mitchell will be completing his 12 weeks of training at the police academy and graduating Thursday.
In addition, Chief King said Chris Smith was hired on Monday to replace Brock Thomas.
