CCPS Board To File Petition To Purchase Bowling Alley

The Caldwell County Board of Education has approved a petition that will be filed with the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) to purchase the bowling alley property and a purchase contract for the property to be used as an indoor sports practice facility.
During a special called meeting Wednesday afternoon, Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Roach explained to board members that the first step in purchasing the bowling alley property is to file a petition to get permission from the KDE for the purchase.

Roach explained the total purchase price is $800,000 which increased slightly due to some work being done on the front side.
